Cariloha Retreat Bamboo sheets, $339: These sheets are super soft, silky and more sustainable with Lyocell fabric. They are similar to the cheaper sheets of the brand, but if you want to prioritize eco-friendly sheets, Lyocell is a good choice (although not the perfect carbon neutral solution). I also really like the included belt, but you can find the cheaper set on the Luxome sheets recommended above.
Ettition Airy Sateen+ kit for $449: These sheets are very soft and combine bamboo leaves and “biochar” made of bamboo, making them antifungal and odor-resistant. They ran some warmth for my liking, but if you’re looking for something that can prevent odors and fungi from getting away from, then these could be your splurge.
Honeydew sheets cost $230: These sheets feel a little stiff at first, but they become soft after washing. They also come with a retaining belt, so they are a great choice for taller mattresses. The only downside is that they are only two colors available, but you’re lucky if you want white or beautiful dark grey.
My sheets swing the regulatory table set for $199: These sheets are super soft. They promise to regulate your temperature, but I find myself waking up a little warm at night. If you are not a popular sleeper, these are soft, comfortable sheets.

This is a great option for popular sleepers – if it resurfaces, buy it!
Sunday Citizen Bamboo Bed, priced at $145: Wired reviewer Louryn Strampe found these sheets very soft and great. But even with claimed deep pockets, they tend to pop out of her mattress, our preferred price is cheaper with belts that can avoid this problem.

What type of bamboo is there?
You may see some different terms when describing the bamboo fibers that make up a set of bamboo slices. Bamboo is naturally not a soft fiber, so it goes through a rigorous chemical process that breaks it down into fibers that can be woven into thin sheets. Each different name will let you know which process is used and which chemicals (and chemicals) are involved.
Bamboo Dragon and Bamboo sticky Sometimes used interchangeably, although they shouldn’t be because they are not exactly the same. Rayon is probably a term you’ve seen before, as this is a general term used for fabrics made from regenerated cellulose. Bamboo Dragon It is usually shown that it is semi-synthetic and may not be 100% bamboo. at the same time, Bamboo sticky Although its process is slightly different, bamboo cellulose is also used as the basis. Viscose is another type that is not limited to bamboo. Almost every piece of paper I’ve tested has 100% bamboo viscosity.
Bamboo lyocell It is the best of these three, because Lyocell has a closed loop process, which means that almost all chemicals used to make more Lyocells are reused rather than poured out. Lyocell is an excellent quality fabric that makes a great cooling plate so if you want to stay cool while sleeping, this is a term.
Are the bamboo slices cooled?
Bamboo is absolutely cool when you first climb into bed, but I often find bamboo bed sheets warm up all night. Some companies claim that bamboo fiber can help regulate your temperature and welding moisture. As a popular sleeper, I haven’t found every set of bamboo sheets. Some people have a weave that is too heavy to stay cool on hot nights, as there is no promised water absorbent to replace good airflow to keep you cool. I suggest there are several sets of bamboo bed sheets below that are cooler than others, but I recommend visiting our guide to the best cooling paper if you want to consider a variety of sheets that can keep you cool, from bamboo to cotton pots, and even mixing with phase change materials (or PCM).
Is thread counting important?
Bamboo sheets have thread counts, just like cotton panels, describing the threads of the square inches of fabric. You don’t want thread counts to be too high – anything over 800 is purely marketing, and a higher thread count may mean shorter, lower-quality fibers. The best fibers are longer and stronger.
Of course, making bamboo into rayon, viscose and Lyocell makes it easier to manipulate it into a long line, so we haven’t seen the crazy high number of lines listed on bamboo sheets. Many of these sheets are also a one-third braid, a two-thirds thread that makes it feel softer but not so breathable. Of course, it’s not always that simple, like Selten will make you hot. Our favorite cooled bamboo sheets from Ettitude have stitching weaving, so it depends on several factors.
