Robert Eggers is making the “Christmas Carol” movie, Willem Dafoe may be Scrooge
In the past few decades, few stories have been as ductile as Charles Dickens Christmas story. It’s a comedy by Bill Murray, a Robert Zemeckis CGI Festival, or even a Muppet movie to name a few. The next iconic story, though, is what we can only assume is the dim, even more terrifying twists and turns of Robert Eggers.

Although no actors have been attached, Eggers reportedly still focus on frequent collaborator Willem Dafoe to play the lead role of Ebenezer Scrooge.
