Bitcoin to $2.4 million? Ark Investment Forecasts to 2030

Ark Invest, a fund management company, has significantly improved its price forecast for Bitcoin, predicting that cryptocurrencies could hit $2.4 million in the vulgar situation by the end of 2030.
The new target set by research analyst David Puell in his April 24 report increased significantly from the company’s $1.5 million former bull case.
Institutional funding aims to boost growth
According to ARK’s report, large financial institutions will be the biggest driver of Bitcoin’s future price growth. In the best case scenario, the company’s Bitcoin is estimated to account for 6.5% of the $200 trillion non-monetary global financial market. This institutional adoption is the backbone of the Ark’s positive vision.
Bitcoin’s price is currently around $93,700, rebounding from its low of $75,150 in 2025. In order for Bitcoin to reach its Ark case goal, it must increase its current value by more than 25 times over the next five years.

According to Ark Investment’s Bear, Base, and Bull Case, Bitcoin will be between $30,000 and $1.5 million in 2030. These forecasts are based on institutional investments, adopting digital gold, demand…an expected capital inflows.

Digital gold state can increase value
The second key driver in the Ark Price Paper is the increasing acceptance of Bitcoin as “digital gold”. The company expects that Bitcoin will likely capture up to 60% of its $18 trillion market cap by 2030.
This will be a huge change in investors’ perceptions of cryptocurrencies, making it compete with the world’s oldest store of value. As the report states, if this happens, it will make a huge contribution to the appreciation of Bitcoin’s price.

Emerging markets provide growth potential
Ark estimates that price appreciation driven by Bitcoin as a “safe haven” for emerging economies may account for nearly 14% of its bull case forecast cost growth.
Poole believes this is “the greatest capital accrual potential”, referring to the fact that Bitcoin can store wealth in an unstable monetary system against inflation and currency depreciation.
The report also takes into account the adoption of nation-states and corporate treasury strategies as other factors that will contribute to future Bitcoin value.

Even the bear case has seen significant growth
Although the $2.4 million bull case has made headlines, Ark’s more modest estimates still indicate significant growth. The company increased its “bear case” from $300,000 to $500,000, and its “basic case” from $710,000 to $1.2 million.
These goals will mean that Bitcoin needs to increase by 32% to 53% at a compounded rate of 32% to 2030. This extended growth rate will be very small for assets that have reached trillions of dollars in market capitalization.
If Bitcoin breaks the $2.4 million barrier, its market capitalization will be based on about $20 million, and by 2030, its market capitalization will reach nearly $49 trillion.
This will make Bitcoin’s market capitalization almost comparable to that of the United States and China’s GDP and be able to use gold as the world’s largest asset class.
