Contact crypto leaders
McGregor reportedly invited experts to work with him. He tagged Anthony Pompliano, the host of Shanda Podcast, and asked for feedback. He also contacted David Bailey, who consulted former U.S. President Donald Trump on cryptocurrency issues. McGregor said in his answer: “Send me a message, let’s talk about my space” and “David send me a message, let’s talk about your ideas!” His idea was to have an X-space conversation to develop details.
Political and legal challenges
Ireland must hold its next presidential election by November 11, 2025, when President Michael D. Higgins’ term ends. Any initiative to build Bitcoin reserves requires support from lawmakers and central banks. Ireland is a member of the EU, so its monetary policy is linked to the euro. Candidates from an independent small party have the opportunity to build alliances for this concept.
