TDS authors can now get payments through stripes

We launched the TDS-Effort Payment Plan in February and have since announced a major update from last month (a more inclusive layer of revenue). Today, we are happy to share that the program has seen dozens of authors earn their first spending thanks to the new stripe integration, which is now more streamlined and user-friendly.
Starting this week, both existing and new authors can connect their stripe accounts to the author profile on our contributor portal. This will ensure that payments are more timely, less and visible at the same location where the authors also draft articles, check their statistics and communicate with our team. All other elements of the program remain the same – including eligibility criteria and specific criteria articles that must meet TD (you can always check out the details we share in the announcement).
We have contacted all the current participants through the instructions for the next step, and everyone joins all participants in TD (hey, this may be you! ) will also invite forward stripe account connections. If you previously posted with us and joined the author payment plan, you can complete the process in minutes – you will find detailed instructions in our FAQ.
Finally, a note to the payment schedule: We will process payments to the authors every month after their article’s 30-day income window. For example, if you published an article on April 18, 2025, your income window will last until May 18, 2025. By then, you’ve seen the estimated spending on the analytics dashboard and payments will be processed in the next payment cycle starting June 15, 2025. You can learn more about our payment cycle here.
We look forward to more and more authors joining and enjoying the benefits of author payment plans; if you have any questions about this, feel free to contact us [email protected].
