The huge folds will soon come from Amazon’s Apple, the report says

It’s no secret that Apple is currently developing for at least one foldable device, but in this market, it may have some surprising competitors.
This information is provided by TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and has a long history of Apple’s predictions. According to Kuo, Apple is developing 18.8-inch foldable devices for mass production for 2027 or 2028. This part is not necessarily news. Other sources recently confirmed the information, which is likely the device is a foldable iPad. However, one detail stands out: Amazon is also said to be developing similar products, planning to mass-produce as early as next year.

Unfortunately, Kuo’s tweets don’t provide any additional information about the rumored Amazon foldable. If Kuo is correct and is “large foldable”, it’s almost certainly some form of hot film, not a phone. For reference, Amazon has not made smartphones since 2014. In a sense, this would be an interesting development, as Amazon’s hot tablets tend to be on the affordable side of the tablet’s spectrum, but the folding amount is usually affordable.
Maybe we will see the cost of 2027.
