A survivor leaves India air crash, causing 241: Report

Shortly after Thursday’s departure, a London plane carrying 242 people was loaded with 242 people. According to New India Express, Air India Flight 171 crashed into BJ Medical College, and early reports showed dozens of people were killed on the ground. According to the BBC, there was a survivor on the plane.

Vishwash Kumar Ramesh survived the crash, according to the Hindustan Times and the BBC, which was Ahmedabad Police Chief GS Malik as a source. Quoting the man as a 40-year-old British national, said:A huge sound was made 30 seconds after takeoff, and the plane crashed. It all happened so quickly. When I got up, there were corpses everywhere. ”

A photo of the survivor’s Air India flight ticket 11A has spread. Local officials initially reported that passengers from Boeing DreamWorks 787-8 survived. But the video on the scene showed a man walking away.

According to the BBC, 204 bodies have been recovered by the local first responders. But that left 38 people unreproached, although Ahmedabad police chief GS Malik told the BBC that 41 people were injured. Part of the chaos seems to be the fact that many people were killed and injured on the ground when the plane crashed into medical school.

According to Australian ABC news, most passengers are Indian nationals, with 53 British nationals, seven Portuguese nationals and one Canadian national.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, but it is very confused about what could have caused the accident. Former NTSB collapse investigator Jeff Guzzetti pointed out to the Associated Press that videos from near the airport did not show any visible smoke or fire, indicating that it was not caused by the air strike. If one of the engines fails, there will be a second engine to fly the aircraft, and both engines will be very rare at the same time.

According to the Associated Press, a former politician was the deceased. Vijay Rupani is the chief minister of Gujarat, India, belongs to the Bharatiya Janata party, which is currently led by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Thursday’s crash was the first time Boeing Dream Server was involved in a major accident. Boeing shares fell more than 4%.
