Apple is still making some kind of smart glasses, it is reported

Apple’s augmented reality glasses may have been dead (or at least put on hold), but it sounds like the company is still pairing with another smart glasses.
Mark Gurman’s latest power report on newsletter on Via 9to5mac said Apple is continuing to work on a pair of smart glasses, a Bloomberg report that Apple’s AR glasses have not happened for months. According to Gurman, the glasses currently in use are more similar to Meta’s Ray-Ban collaboration, as they will be full of technology but will stop providing a true augmented reality display.

Apple plans to make all iPhones sold in the United States in India.
Gurman said they will be powered by Apple Intelligence and can “analyze the surroundings and feed information to the wearer,” though to what extent it can do. The meta version of the concept is aimed primarily at influencers and allows glasses-based photography and Instagram live processes, although apparently, Apple is not entirely committed to allowing photography for privacy reasons.
In any case, it may take at least a few years if we see the fruits of all this labor. Maybe the smart glasses dream will continue to exist.
