Bitcoin is not a completed project

In early April, at the MIT Bitcoin Expo, I was able to sit down with Jameson Lopp to discuss the current situation and future of Bitcoin.

Jameson and Jeremy Welch co-founded CASA in 2017 with Jeremy Welch, before working as a software engineer at Bitgo, another company based on Multisig services. He has been working as a software developer and independent researcher in the Bitcoin field since 2012.

LOPP is famous for a swing incident during the lockdown war in 2017, where someone tried to misunderstand that a police storm entered his home in a situation where Jameson took hostages. After the incident, he completely got rid of the grid and changed his residence and lifestyle to ensure that his name was not in the public record.

We discussed poisoning attacks very briefly. Following this topic, we have extensive discussions on the current state of Bitcoin development and Bitcoin itself as a protocol and project, including what it needs to succeed in the long run.
