Bitdeer mined 196 bitcoins in May, worth over $21 million

Bitdeer Technologies Group, a global leader in Bitcoin mining and infrastructure, has released its May 2025 unaudited operations update highlighting bridge capabilities, ongoing infrastructure development, and powerful expansion into AI services.

“In May 2025, we continued to deploy sealer mining rigs to websites in Texas, the United States, Norway and Bhutan, increasing Bitdeer’s self-deposit to 13.6 EH/s by the end of May,” said Matt Kong, Bitdeer Chief Business Officer. “Looking forward, we are still expected to deliver more than 40 EH/s of self-loading capacity by October 2025. In addition, in May, we sold approximately 1.6 eh/s of seal A2 to external customers. Our A3 series will also be released and will be available soon and will be available for pre-order soon.”

Bitdeer’s self-squeezing 196 BTC in May (up 18.1% since April), to expand deployment of Sealminer A1 and A2 units. A total of 9 eh/s were manufactured in Sealminer A2, shipped to customers at 2.9 EH/s, and only 1.6 EH/s were sold in May.

The Sealminer A3S is currently undergoing machine-level testing and will be booked in June. In addition, the development of the next generation A4 sealer chip is underway, targeting the 5 j/th efficiency of Q4 2025.

Bitdeer also announced the launch of its AI Cloud Service, a service powered by over 10 high-level large language models including Llama, DeepSeek, and Qwen variants. The infrastructure is designed for strong reasoning needs and represents a critical move into the HPC/AI department.

Infrastructure developments include the continued energy of Norway’s 175 MW Tydal, expected to be vibrant by June, and progress has been made at the Ohio 221 MW Massillon site with the goal of completing in the second half of 2025. The company also launched 132 MW on its Jigmeling, Bhutan Site and 368 MW online and 368 MW.

Bitdeer reports significant progress has been made between mining, infrastructure and AI cloud services, increasing from Mining Bridge Rock to 13.6 EH/S and launching its LLM-powered AI cloud platform.

Financially, Bitel earned $50 million in cash after exercising the arrest warrant on a 2024 private placement warrant in May.

With a global capacity of 2,690 MW, Bitdeer continues to expand its presence in North America, Europe and Asia, continuing to advocate its role as a top Bitcoin mining operator and a pioneer in high-performance computing.
