Flash releases free bitcoin invoice tool with no fees, KYC or custody

Bitcoin payment platform Flash has just announced that it has launched Flash Invoicing, a completely free, non-monitoring and KYC-free Bitcoin invoicing tool. The platform is designed for freelancers and allows users to send professional invoices without platform fees, identity checks or third-party custody.

According to Deel, a freelance payment company, Bitcoin is the most commonly used cryptocurrency in the world. Despite this growth, many freelancers continue to use basic methods such as pasting Bitcoin addresses into PDFs or emails. Some rely on hosting platforms that require deductions or authentication, which can affect revenue and data privacy.

“We’ve seen too many people paste BTC into documents and call it invoices,” said Flash Pierre Corbin’s CEO. “It’s confusing. It’s risky. Now it’s time to do something better.”

Flash invoice function:

  • 0% Platform Fee: No subscription or commission
  • Non-habitual: Bitcoin enters users’ wallets directly
  • No KYC: Users maintain full privacy
  • Professional output: Brand PDF and secure payment link
  • Integrated dashboard: Manage payments, customers and revenue
  • Partner with the Flash ecosystem: Including stores, donations, paywalls, and POS

Many Bitcoin invoicing tools have percentages per transaction or require a subscription. As a result, freelancers often lose a portion of their income simply to issue invoices and get payments. The purpose of Flash is to solve this problem.

“Freebrews work hard enough. The last thing they need is a platform to plunder their income,” Corbin said. “That’s why we’ve cut fees from 1.5% to 0% – and launched the first truly free invoicing tool without compromising privacy or control.”

Invoice history

Flash invoices allow users to accept Bitcoin payments without giving up control, privacy or income. It integrates with the wider Flash Suite, enabling users to manage invoicing with features like setting up a store, receiving donations, or Gating Premium content.

“As a freelancer, I love using the Flash invoice feature,” said one freelancer and Flash user. “It keeps all my clients in one place, allowing me to edit invoices and track payments easily. It’s much more professional than sending a lightning address in the footer of a PDF invoice.”
