How to build an effective AI GRC framework

Making AI governance a team effort
AI spans almost every aspect of the business, so the GRC framework should include input from a wide range of players.
“We usually start with stakeholder recognition and inclusion by interacting with a range of sponsors, leaders, users and experts,” said Ricardo Madan, senior vice president and head of global services at IT service provider Teksystems.
This includes law, human resources, compliance and scope of business. “This ensures a holistic and unified approach to identifying the issues, goals and issues that frameworks create frameworks,” Madan said. “At this stage, we also established or approved the organization’s AI values and ethical standards. From there, we have planned and cadenced for ongoing feedback, iterative improvements, and progress tracking for these priorities.”
