boundary Apple’s walled garden is not as defined as before. Apple Maps is the latest app to explode. It took a while (the app launched in 2012), but you can now use Apple Maps on the web. You can load it into a browser in your Windows PC, Mac, iPad, or even an Android phone’s mobile browser.
Currently, there is a Beta tag attached to the Apple Maps web application, which means it’s a work in progress. More features and better performance are expected over time. (For example, you can’t log in with your Apple ID yet.) You also need a compatible browser, which means Safari, Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.
Despite its beta status, you can already do a lot with Apple Maps on the web, including finding locations, indicating to specific locations, and accessing guides to popular cities and other destinations.

We don’t have the ability to log in to Apple Maps on the web, so every time you open it in your browser, you will start fresh, for example, you won’t see a link to where you searched or saved in the past. Click the arrow icon (top right corner) to jump to the current position according to the location reported by the browser.
The map icon above the arrow allows you to select the map view: standard,,,,, satellite,or Hybrid A combination of the two. There is also a compass icon below. Click and drag the compass to change the orientation of the map, or click once to return to the default value (North Direct Up). In the lower right corner, you can use the zoom controls, and you can also zoom in and out by pinching the touch screen or trackpad or using the scroll wheel on the mouse.
There is a navigation pane on the left where you can use the icons in the upper left corner to show and hide it, which gives you access to the key three parts of Apple Map on the web: search,,,,, Wizardand direction. Search is simple enough: just enter what you want. You will also see quick links to find restaurants, bars, gas stations and other destinations in the map area you are currently looking for.
With some of the world’s bigger and more well-known cities, an information panel pops up more details about the location. This may include photos of landmarks and historical information obtained from Wikipedia. These city overviews will mark the main roads and attractions worth seeing on the map.
