Microsoft creates new account by default new account without password

Think of something you will always remember, something so close to your heart or brain, you don’t have to write it down to keep your mind on your mind. You must enter 30 days a day. It must have 15 characters, uppercase letters, lowercase letters, symbols and numbers. Numbers cannot be continuous. It is not similar to anything you have said before. You will have to constantly recall this secret code or you may be locked in every device and the subscription you want.

Of course, we are talking about your password, it’s a nightmare. Now, Microsoft wants to get rid of the password completely.

The company announced this week that moving forward with all new Microsoft accounts going “no password by default.”

According to a May 1 post from Microsoft’s blog, the move is part of a “Password-free login journey.” Instead of logging in with your password, Microsoft wants you to use Passkey, which could be a PIN or biometric option like facial recognition or fingerprint scanning. (This sounds much better than Sam Altman’s eye scan machine.)

Mixable light speed

“[Users] “Login with Passkeys is three times more successful in entering its account than password users (about 98% vs 32%),” the blog post read. “When you use Passkey, you will also get into your account faster!” Passkey signatures are eight times faster than passwords and multifactor authentication. ”

Therefore, Microsoft believes that not only will signatures be less annoying, but they will also be more effective.

“As part of this simplified UX, we are changing the default behavior of new accounts. A brand new Microsoft account will now ‘no password’.” “New users will have several password-free options to log in to their accounts, and they will not need to register for a password. Existing users can access their account settings to delete their password.”

Microsoft isn’t the only technology company toward Passkey-friendly login. Amazon, Google and WhatsApp are also working hard.
