My first Bitcoin received a $1 million grant from Jack Dorsey to expand global Bitcoin education

My first Bitcoin, a nonprofit focused on grassroots Bitcoin education, has just announced that they received a $1 million grant from Start Small. This funding will help expand efforts to provide free open source Bitcoin education around the world.

“The revolution in Bitcoin education is that it teaches students how to think, not how to think.” “The funds obtained from sources with their own incentives are the greatest vulnerability that threatens this. Anyone who has funding will capture education. We will never take any government funds, often denying funds from companies and companies. The subtle influence of funds undermines Fiat education, and we need to create more Bitcoin education models for Bitcoin education to achieve its full potential.”

This grant gives my first Bitcoin a tool that expands its reach and improves tools like tools such as Bitcoin Diploma, Introduction Courses and Teacher Training Workshops. It also enhances their online schools and community centers, making Bitcoin education more accessible to people everywhere.

The funding is not only a milestone, but a statement. As Dennehy adds: “My first bitcoin is a proof of concept for all independent bitcoin educators, and you’ll be stronger even in challenging situations even if you continue to perform tasks.”

My first bitcoin started in 2021 and is a small local project. Since then, it has grown into a global movement. Over the years, the team has taught thousands of students to test and refine materials based on real-world feedback.

In 2022, my first Bitcoin awarded a Bitcoin diploma to 38 high school students in El Salvador. As part of the program, students have 10 lessons that include an introduction to the currency system, the consequences of Fiat, currency history, understanding of Bitcoin, wallets and Bitcoin networks, dual issues and nodes, security and mining, the value of Bitcoin, the future of Lightning Network and Bitcoin, and the final project.

In 2023, the organization launched an independent Bitcoin educator node network and now has more than 65 projects in more than 35 countries. These include circular economies, party groups and other local Bitcoin projects. What unites is their shared commitment to six core values: “Their education is independent, impartial, community-led, Bitcoin only, quality, and a focus on empowering profits.”

“Open source currency is worthy of open source education. Over the past few years, we have seen a growing demand for global resources and we are still committed to serving everyone in the Bitcoin field that needs to be supported,” said Director of Communications for my first Bitcoin Arnold Hubach.
