“Our Last” will take a fourth season to complete the story

Next season Our last one Not the last one. In a new interview, the show’s co-creator Craig Mazin Our final second part. “This narrative cannot be completed in the third season,” Majin said. “Hopefully we can win enough ability to come back and finish with a fourth point. This is the most likely outcome.”
The quote comes from an extensive interview with Collider, and before the upcoming season 2 finale, Mazin talks about the work of season 3, with HBO officially greening a few weeks ago. “This will always be needed,” Majin said of the events of completing the second game of the third season. “There are natural piercings in the narrative, and you can go, ‘Well, let’s tear it off here.’ I think the chances for Season 3 are longer than the chances for Season 2, because Joel’s death is a little different, it’s a nuclear weapon for the narrative.
Viewers have not seen the finale of Season 2, but it seems to be one of the biggest “punches” for the second game mentioned by Mazin. Assuming the big point of view of the game is the end of the season, there must be a lot of stories to go, but it’s surprising to hear Mazin Flat Out say they don’t want to end next season.
Thankfully, Mazin confirmed that they won’t start writing anything until not only planning for the upcoming season, but also going further ahead. “We always think,” he said. “We consider season 3 and season 4, trying to get as much visibility as possible so we don’t sit down in one situation and go and go, ‘Oh man, it would be cool if we didn’t have that guy saying that line, or in that jacket or wearing that jacket.’’ So we really try to think about everything fundamentally.
In fact, it may take three seasons. Season 2 finale Our last one It airs Sunday; then we will have more.
