Smart network company raises £29.3 million to grow Bitcoin holdings
The smart networking company, a UK-based web design and digital services company, has raised £29.3 million in a new funding round to support its Bitcoin treasury strategy.
The salary increase is done through accelerated study and subscriptions with institutional investors. The stock price is £1.80 per share, matching the closing price on Friday, June 13. This price is more than twice the company’s last fundraising round.
The company said: “Smart Networks is pleased to announce the successful completion of accelerated investors’ accelerated books through Tennyson Securities and Peterhouse Capital Limited.
A total of more than 16.2 million new shares were issued, 15.4 million were built through books, and about 854,000 shares were issued through subscriptions.
As demand is high, books and subscriptions raised about £29.3 million, well above the minimum requirement of £15 million, which was through a total of 16,297,627 new common stocks at £0.001 per share and £1.80 per share. The quote price is the closing price on Friday, June 13, 2025. ” the company said.
The salary increase only brought its total Bitcoin holdings to 242.34 BTC three days after the company revealed it had purchased 74.27 bitcoins for £5.98 million. Now, its average cost base is £78,793 per bitcoin.
“The company believes that Bitcoin forms a core part of the future of the global financial system,” it said in the two documents.

“Since 2023, smart network companies have adopted a policy of accepting Bitcoin payments. The company is pioneering the Bitcoin Treasury policy to incorporate it into its strategy.”
The strategy was officially formalized in April 2025 and with the launch of its “10-year plan”, it sees Bitcoin play a key role in its financial structure.
New shares are expected to be accepted around June 19, after which the company’s total shares issued will increase to 220 million shares.
