We’re only two months away Superman Going to the Theatre – James Gunn’s latest work is not just an expected blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxythis is DC Studios’ big screen debut for a new era under Gunn and Peter Safran. We finally have a full trailer that will give us the best look to this latest Iron Man and his allies (we already know there is a cute dog, of course) and evil enemies.

Gunn laughed at the trailer on social media because he “waited too long to share”.
David Corenswet stars as Clark Kent/Superman, with Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason/Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl.
The rest of the cast includes Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., and frankly, it’s just who’s surface scratching in this movie. Milly Alcock, to play Kara Zor-el in SC’s June 2026 release Super Girl: The Woman of Tomorrowwill also pop up at some point.
Superman Released in theaters on July 11.
