Switch 2 gamers with fan crashes, Target and Walmart [April 2025]

The Nintendo Switch 2 reservations were made at midnight Thursday, and it was quite predictable that every retailer website would explode afterwards. Now, Gamesop has also dropped.

While most retailers will book live streams, GameStop waited until 11 a.m. Thursday, when their website quickly crashed.

Last night, the Switch 2 pre-order feeding frenzy caused a common problem with major retail chain network infrastructure, first to discover New York Post.
