How Mike Flanagan makes Carrie feel like a new story

Horror and literature fans will be happy to hear experienced Stephen King movie universe storyteller Mike Flanagan planning for his new plan Carrie adapt. Amazon’s eight-episode mini-series was the idea that Flanagan was initially turned away. He told Variety, “I thought at first, ‘Why? It’s done.”
You can’t blame him for hesitation. This book has been adapted several times. But after considering a lot of ideas, he said, “I found the answer to this question, which made me very excited.”
He then turned to someone who obviously needed to participate in the discussion: the famous horror writer Stephen King, Flanagan Chuck’s life.
“But when I went to Steve, his answer was ‘Why?’ His first answer was: ‘She endured it alone. “But this is the information I can share and send him the Bible and the program plans, and he can see what we are trying to do is new,” Flanagan explained. “And he said, not much donated, ‘Oh, now I’m interested, like fans. I’m so glad to see where this went.” Once he said yes, we left because I wouldn’t have done that if Steve said no.
this Doctor sleeps The filmmakers aim to give us an understanding of the narrative modernization of Carrie’s efforts to adapt, not only in school, but at home. In the digital age, how will this turn into his view. “I’m going to say the original story is half a century of history, and its theme is about youth and bullying. I believe that in today’s modern world, the power to be bullies, the breadth of bullying and the impact of bullying have changed a lot.”
Flanagan scoffed: “The central purpose is still the same, but far exceeds Carrie White.
“I can’t really talk about what we’re doing, I can only really talk about what we’re not doing. We’re not retelling the story as we were told, and we’re not doing shows about telecoms. It’s not there, but it’s not the purpose of it,” he said. “It’s so horrible to have a version of Carrie White with a tragic superhero story. I think they did it, too.”
The new version of this story seems to be related to the social structure becoming more toxic, even in the age of online platforms, even when children leave school. “With these very modern tools, we’re focusing more on the destruction of the community. What happens in a world where the internet creates an anonymous environment? In every iteration, Kelly White in the locker room is a horror scene,” he said. “Carrie White in the locker room is a completely different thing when people have phones in their hands.”
This definitely reminds me of contemporary youth-centric dramas, e.g. puberty But, through Stephen King’s horror approach, we can’t wait to see what Flanagan proposes.
