The team at BTC Inc. is proud to announce that U.S. Vice President (VP) JD Vance will introduce the Bitcoin 2025 conference from the event’s main stage at 9:00 a.m. on May 28 at 9:00 a.m.
VP Vance’s keynote will be delivered in Las Vegas, Venice, as part of the conference’s “Code + Country” program track. The address will also be streamed worldwide via Bitcoin Magazine’s media channels and X accounts.
When this address is released, VP Vance will become the first vice president ever to speak publicly in support of Bitcoin. He was still on the campaign trail at the Bitcoin conference for a year after President Trump made his appearance in 2024 Bitcoin in Nashville, Tennessee.
“It’s not just a title moment, it’s a signal. Bitcoin is the most exciting financial innovation in the world. It’s at the forefront of national dialogue,” said David Bailey, CEO of BTC Inco.
Given that his financial disclosures show that his personal Bitcoin holdings range from $250,000 to $500,000, the address is not only from the U.S. Vice President, but also from Bitcoin.
Vice President Vance advocated Bitcoin during his time in the U.S. Senate because he explicitly opposed over-division of regulation and pushed for a redefinition of how the U.S. government interacts with open source currencies.
He also criticized current SEC leadership and voices about the dangers of centralized financial control, which shows that events such as the Canadian bank account freeze in 2022 are examples of why Bitcoin is important.
In his speech at Bitcoin in 2025, he is expected to focus on innovation, financial sovereignty and how Bitcoin can play a role in the U.S.’s more resilient American future.

Bitcoin 2025 is expected to host more than 30,000 attendees and provide leaders from technology, finance, education and global policy. Previous spokespersons include U.S. presidential candidate Donald J. Trump, tech innovator Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and heads of major financial institutions.
