We do this in several different ways. I don’t want to give up anything. Too early, there are very few. I’m going to say that one of the reasons it took a minute to make this sequel is that it’s really hard for us to repeat what the first movie was and yet to lose the sauce from the first movie.
It’s interesting because it’s about what’s real and what’s not. This is answered at the end of the first movie, so you can’t put Le Bail back into the bottle. Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy do things in this script very clever. Once they push it, that’s it’s ‘of course that’s it. That’s a good idea. This is a great way to tell this story. I’m glad to see it.
I think it’s safe to say that we extend the myth without explaining the entire myth. I don’t know if this sounds exciting, but it’s exciting for us. I think it’s the right amount of world building while still telling an amazing emotional story. We feel so honored that people embraced the movie and if it would be like, we don’t want to revisit it, like, ‘Oh, look. They did it again. If we don’t come up with something we feel like we’re adding, or in some ways, we can all. We are all very excited about what it will be.
